How did this Made in USA movement start? This is likely a trend initiated by America’s local artisanal small businesses, as well as unemployed folks who starting making homemade products using their knowhow. What’s your bag?
As an example of the ingenuity of the Distant Village Made In USA line, we’ve figured out how to work with a local non-profit business to make packaging from coffee bean sacks. Using reclaimed coffee sacks, we produce boxes, bags and accessory items like gift cardholder envelopes from upcycled burlap collected from local American coffee roasters. We’re continuously developing new products from this upcycled burlap and welcome ideas, inquiries and requests.
